DOWN THE BOOZE LANE

when we sat and drank yesterday evening and didnt stop till late after midnight,,,my heart went off for a stroll down memory lane..
mom always says no matter how much you hate a person,if once the person's been your drink mate,,you would bounce onto him with the first oppurtunity..
mom also says liquor is a weakness that she aint able to guage...
she also says, drink leads to most family problems...
hmm..
well i respect all of these things but i go back at once a booze mate, always a mate..:P
why me making such a deal outa being drunk is cause i got onto it after almost more than 18 months and whether you consider it or not, i consider it an achievemnet and gave myself the liberty to get tipped off by the sinful sparkling liquid..and lord...... heaven..
its a privelege to have good company to get high with and so i am priveleged to be married to a great booze mate and "blessed" to have friends who never misbehave after even the 5th glass down their throat...!!:D

having said that i raise a toast to all my booze mates and otherwise...
and with the risk of naming them,,,(please contact me asap if you need me to delete your name..:P)
at 16, a guy crazily in love with me arranged for a tincher full of liquor (a litre) and rups and me cracked up through out the night with hysterical laughs, hiccups, numbness and fits of giggles..!!!
and since then all my friends,tanvi,kshitij,anthony,jayant,pallavi, inna,rupa, anjali,kunal, candy, sam, vatsala,sameer,sonia,sandesh,khush, even the irritating darshini(the gal who peed on my bathroom floor and i ended up baby sitting her)rucha, bob, priya di, anand, rajesh manasie,'manoj and preeeti' whom i really miss,gaurang, dj nicky, richie,rahul,tapan,surbhi

, pranay, vijay, even amishi(wth)and above all bhai...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (a small mention for my in laws too..namoatter the differences, i enjoy your company too) HAVE UNDOUBTLY (EACH ONE OF YOU)LEFT ME WITH GOOD MEMORIES...
please forgive me if i have forgotton anyone's name... LET ME KNOW TOO,IF YOU WANNA
i havent mentioned FRANK coz he's too special for a mention..:P

even though the memories may have dazed, i thank you all for the companionship that was offered at that moment..hahahaha:P

some shots in the movies really make you admire the director..
the shot in 'mission kashmir' where the lil boy discovers the mask that sanjay dutt wore to kill his parents..the shot following that has such impact.. the boy wears the mask and is coloring sanjay dutt's photograph to identofy... if you see it closely the way the camera goes out and into focus is just amazing
also the shot in 'the village' where almost in the end the blind girl decides to go to the city to get medicines and the spastic guy wears the ghosts mask and is standing right next to her beside the tree, and the girl says' its all farse'..and is sweating frantically out of fear..!

ASTRO OBSSESSION..!!

by fact,all fire signs are interested in astrology and likes..but some of these people of whom i have some friends, go off board with astrology..of whatever little they have been fortunate enough to read bout astrological signs, they use it in referrence to every bit of a conversation..

one of these people, while frank was laughing, goes, typical scorpion laugh..and frank stopped laughing..!!!:P

there was a sale in westside and i picked a night suit which had 50 % off... and the teddies and hearts and flowers looked negligible in front of 50% on the suit... so i got it...when i wore it in front of another one of these friends of mine.. she goes typical aries you see..noone else would dare to buy a teddy bear night suit..only an aries can..!!!

i didnt wanna crumple her analysis but IT HAD 50% OFF ON IT,.........!!!I COULDNT EVEN SEE THE GODDAM TEDDIES..!!!!

i too am one of these people..at times i go off board but only when i have response from the other side(in my defence, i only go off board when the other side initiates..:P)

i too like to know that because am an aries, i am cool, immatured, independent, arrogant, smart, attractive, aggressive...and the likes...and i like knowing that saggitarians are the best match for aries coz my best friend's a saggi and it amuses me to know that scorpions and aries should have a rocky relationship when i see frank and me do so well...!!

but signs are signs ......... i sneeze like an aries, i smile like one, i dance like one and i even write like one...:D

the devil

the urge to do something you know you arent supposed to do is greater than the urge to scratch, when you enjoy doing what you arent supposed to do..!!!
last sunday i heard the father say, 'the devil is always at his work, and he does a good job'...'it is your job to abstain from the lure of the devil'...
if you think about this, what if there were a competition between the devils appointed on each one of us.. and it was incentive based.. it would be amusing to see which one is highest paid..!
everytime you give into smoking,,500 bucks to the devil
everytime you dont meet a deadline,1000 bucks to the devil...
everytime you are dishonest ,,750 bucks...!!!!
it would be easy money as they say..!!
and as i think of this and my hand goes out to light that fag, i wonder how much the devil just earned....!!!
